Shoegazing with Mistareez.
Theory Therapy 37 is an hour of slowcore and shoegaze carefully woven together by London-based producer Mistareez. It was recorded all over the city and I love the way there’s field recordings peppered throughout the mix—so good you can almost picture the view from the window.
The ANE label boss has been releasing some great music over the past couple of years—his latest xenosonic, has been on repeat since it came out—and his monthly Balamii show is a gold mine for smoggy ambient and downtempo. He's also got some of the best tunes I’ve heard in a while landing later this year. Can’t say much more than that right now but keep an eye out.
