Theory Therapy 66: Lucas Dupuy

Tranquillising soundscapes from London.

Next up is a mix by London based artist Lucas Dupuy. He recently produced the artwork for our vinyl release with CHANTSSSS (co-released with our good friends co:clear). Now he’s put together a stunning mix and cover for the series, featuring some of his own forthcoming music.

Hey Lucas. How are you today?

Hey! Good thanks! :)

What was the last song you listened to?

Panoramic Deep Love Story by Special Guest DJ, It's been on repeat a lot since last year!

Where’s your favorite place to listen to music?

I think on the Train or Cycling.

What’s your favourite album cover?

Biosphere’s Cirque

Can you tell us a little about your Theory Therapy mix? What were you feeling when you made it? Where did you record it?

I made it at home, whilst a little under the weather so I think it's definitely got some melancholy elements to it. The seasons have also started to change here in London so that's definitely played a part in the mix too.

Where would you recommend listening to it?

On the way somewhere or lying in the park :)

Theory Therapy mixes are about sharing the music that you personally find therapeutic, cathartic or restorative. What does that mean for you?

Listening to music has always been a very important part of my life since I was a child. My father played music constantly growing up and it became ingrained in my life. It's definitely a very restorative activity. Helps me focus and relax.
